  • Hosting a Scrimmage

On Saturday, 10/24/2026, Solon Robotics will host a scrimmage for the Iowa FTC leagues. We are part of the Zinnia League this season, however, all teams in Iowa are welcome to attend the scrimmage. We also encourage anyone interested in robotics to come to our events and see what all the excitement is about in FTC Biobuzz. Adults can volunteer and try out different roles that are needed to support the FIRST Tech Challenge program.

The timeline for the scrimmage is an estimate only but we will try to keep on pace.

7:30 – 8:00 Team and volunteer check in
    8:00 – 9:30 Inspection & practice
    9:30 – 10:00 Driver’s meeting
    10:15 – 11:30 Matches
    11:30 – 12:00 Lunch break
    12:00 – 2:00 Matches, tear down & clean up

  • We’re Back!

A couple people across the Solon Robotics teams are interested in bringing our site back to life! We haven’t posted for a couple of years, huh?

In case people are in need of a refresher, we are Solon Robotics. A group of 3 robotics teams, 15055 (DeDucktive Thinkers), 367 (Organized Chaos), and 5062 (Mechanaries). We are exited for this FIRST season and hope to connect with lots of other teams and people. To any other teams reading this, we wish you best of luck in the upcoming season!

  • We have crashed and are trying to….

We are trying to rebuild our site. Please be patient as we recover.

    Thank you.
